(1) The level of technological equipment in the industry has been generally improved. The production line of modified asphalt waterproofing membrane with capacity of 5 million square meters per year is increasing, and the extended vulcanization tank of EPDM waterproofing membrane with better performance has been put into operation. (2) Promotion and application of products increased significantly, production technology improved significantly, and product structure improved significantly. SBS/APP modified asphalt waterproofing membrane, polymer waterproofing membrane, medium and high-grade waterproofing coating have continued to grow, and sealing materials of middle and high-grade buildings have increased substantially. (3) Breakthroughs have been made in implementing policies to restrict the use of products and technologies. Specification of production and application of polyethylene polypropylene waterproofing membrane, timely development and promotion of environmentally friendly waterproofing materials have achieved remarkable results. (4) The policy of prohibiting the use of products and technologies has been implemented to different extent. Eliminating the production line of petroleum asphalt paper-based felt, coal tar-based waterproof coating and sealing materials with an annual capacity of 1 million rolls has been well implemented, and the secondary formed polyethylene polypropylene coil has basically withdrawn from the market. (5) Achievements have been made in the research, development and introduction of new products and technologies. The development of polymer waterproof membrane adhesives and adhesive tapes, the production and application technology of glass fiber asphalt tile and self-adhesive waterproof membrane, and the research and development achievements of metal membrane and metal tire membrane provide more choices for waterproof engineering.
